Omah Lay and Tems Finally Regains Freedom, Released From Uganda Prison
Mr Eazi has annouced that Nigerian musicians Omah Lay and Tems have been released from prison in Uganda. On December 13th, the artists were arrested and charged to court for breaking Covid-19 rules by performing at an event in Kampala, Uganda.

According to Mr Eazi and emPawa boss, they have now been released and on their way home.

He also went on to thank the Ugandan government and the Justice of Uganda for their release. Eazi further added that show promoters should be held accountable for breaking rules and not artists who are doing their best to survive in harsh climes.
“On the said issue, Promoters must adhere to Rules and Regulations & be held accountable for flouting these rules. We African Creatives get Little or no support, for the soft power & amount of Jobs we create! The sector must be looked at holistically! God bless Africa.”
