The Yoruba People Have 21% Of Nigeria Population, See The Percentage Of Igbo And Other Tribes

Nigeria is one of the most densely populated countries in Africa with approximately 200 million people in an area of 923,768 km². Nigeria has the largest population in Africa and is ranked as the 7th most populated country in the world. The Hausa, Igbo and YouTube are the major tribes and they make more than half of the Nigerian population.

According to reports,as of 2019 the Hausa population in the country was estimated at 27.4%/, Yoruba population was estimated to be 21% and Igbo at 18%.

The Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba people spread all over the nooks and crannies of Nigeria. Majority of the Hausa people live in the Northern part of the country while the Igbo people live in the southeastern region of the country and the Youruba people mostly live in the southwest. The three tribes are not restricted to the locations where majority of their people live. The Hausa,Igbo and Yoruba people can be found anywhere in Nigeria.
