There is a tribe in Papua New Guinea, which is known as The Korowai tribe. According to multiple online reports, they are Cannibals .

The place is far from civilization as there are no schools, lights etc in Korowai.

They have a reason for eating humans. This is because they believe that evil Spirit exist. So if anyone is possessed by evil spirits, they would gather and slaughter that individual .

Some reports have it that they no longer practice cannibalism, while others reveal they still practice it til date. These people also believe in witchcraft, they believe sickness and diseases are cursed by demons and evil spirits.
