We Have No Record Of Obaseki’s Defection – APC
The governing All Progressives Congress has stated it has no record of the defection of embattled Edo Governor Godwin Obaseki from its fold.

Reacting to Obaseki’s announcement of leaving the APC on Tuesday afternoon, APC’s National Publicity Secretary Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu said;
“We cannot comment at this moment on media reports suggesting the Edo governor or anyone else has left our great party.
“The party has no record of the reported defection of Governor Godwin Obaseki from the Progressive party”.
Obaseki had informed he was leaving the APC on Tuesday afternoon while leaving the State House.
The party disqualified the Governor from seeking re-election on its platform on the ground of “defective qualifications.”
