JUST IN: Bashir Ahmad Announces That Inter State Movement May Resume June 21

Personal assistant on Nee Media, to President Buhari, has hinted that inter state movement might resume on the 21st of this month.



Taking to his Twitter page, Bashir Ahmad wrote that the inter state movement might be resumed on the same day as flights in the country.

He wrote;


“Interstate movement may resume on June 21, the National Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Dr. Sani Aliyu, gave the hint recently, as domestic flights expected to also resume on June 21.“

Earlier today, Lagos state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu revealed the date for the reopening of worship centers in the state.

According to the state governor, mosques are to reopen from June 19 while churches are to begin services from June 21.

The governor gave this announcement on Thursday during a briefing at the Government House, Marina.

Sanwo-Olu also stated that children below age of 15 should not be allowed at religious gatherings which have been restricted to Fridays and Sundays.

The Federal Government had few days back instructed that duration for each church service must not exceed an hour.

This was disclosed in a statement by the National Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Sani Aliyu, while rolling out guidelines for the reopening of worship centres, in a press briefing in Abuja on Tuesday.
