Heartbreaking: Bride-to-be Dies Hours To Wedding In Bauchi

It was gathered that she complained of a mild stomach ache during the walima and only managed to pull through it but died later in the night. 


A bride-to-be in Bauchi State reportedly died few hours to her fatiha (wedding) scheduled to hold on Saturday, December 29, 2018.
The deceased, whose name was given as Fawziya Abdulkadir Tataru, was said to have died on Friday, December 28, 2018.
Until her demise, she was said to be a quantity surveying graduate of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi.
Northern City News learnt from a source close to the family that the deceased attended her wedding walima on Friday as she was scheduled to get married the next day by 11am at the Gwallaga Jumat Mosque, Bauchi.
The source, who was in mourning mood, said, “Her funeral prayer was conducted in the same mosque and at the same time the wedding would have held; she died on the eve of her wedding. May Allah grant Fauziya Al-Jannah.”
Though the cause of her death could not be immediately ascertained, it was gathered that she complained of a mild stomach ache during the walima and only managed to pull through it but died later in the night.
