The Executive Vice-Chairman of Manchester United, Ed Woodward has revealed the manager that will replace the Red Devils’ boss, Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho is under intense pressure at Old Trafford due to his side’s poor form of run this season.

Mourinho’s side are now 18 points behind league leaders, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City on the Premier League table after their 2-2 draw with Arsenal on Wednesday.

The Sun is now reporting that Ed Woodward will sack Mourinho if he fails to guide the club into the top four this campaign and replace him with Tottenham Hotspur manager, Mauricio Pochettino.

The report also claimed that the deal would cost United £40million, although if the club miss out on Champions League football this term, then they will not have to pay Mourinho a severance package.

Man United will tackle Fulham at home on Saturday evening in the Premier League fixture.
