CAF confirms Cameroon can’t host 2019 AFCON

The Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football , on Friday, confirmed that Cameroon would not be hosting the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

In a tweet on its verified Twitter handle , CAF said , the committee met in Accra and decided that the African nation is incapable of hosting the continental tournament .

It had earlier been reported that the committee was meeting to consider reports from Cameroon , about its level of preparedness .
