AC Milan Close To Appointing Arsene Wenger As Coach
Arsene Wenger might be starting his coaching career afresh in Italy after spending over 20 years in England.
Former Arsenal coach, Arsene Wenger, is close to signing for Italian side, AC Milan.
The two parties have been negotiating throughout the last several weeks and seem eager to reach a final agreement.
According to France Football, the appointment of the 69-year-old will be imminent, while the team’s sports director, Leonardo, will be the key piece in the negotiations.
Wenger departed the Gunners in June, after 22 years at the helm of the team.
Meanwhile, the club’s current coach, Gennaro Gattuso has assisted Milan to fourth position in Serie A.
