Davido Shuts Down Country He’s Never Heard Of With Sold Out Concert

Davido is elated to publicize his concert in Mayotte for obvious reasons. According to the DMW singer, he has never heard of the country’s name until he got booked to perform there.

Mayotte is an archipelago in the Indian Ocean between Madagascar and the coast of Mozambique. It’s a department and region of France, though traditional

Mayotte culture is most closely related to that of the neighboring Comoros islands.

Taking to his social media pages, Davido posted:

‘ Mayotte , Never heard of this place until we got booked to perform here ! Arrived two days before the show and had problem communicating with the people because of language barrier, even to order food nah wahala ! Touched that stage last night we all spoke the same language.”
