Arsenal fans love Kanu comments on Unai Emery

ARSENAL legend Nwankwo Kanu had his say about new manager Unai Emery on Tuesday night – and fans absolutely loved his comments , Daily Star reports .Emery appears to have got his team back to winning ways in the Premier League after a 3 – 2 victory over Cardiff .

The north London side started the campaign with defeats to Manchester City and Chelsea .

But Arsene Wenger ’ s successor – who has impressed Arsenal fans in training – has now seen his side win two matches in a row .

And Kanu , who scored 37 goals for the Gunners in nearly 120 appearances , believes it can only get better for his former side .

Speaking to AFTV , Kanu said , “ So far , so good. We ’ ve played four games – won two , lost two .

“ When you look at the game against Chelsea , it was supposed to be a game that we ’ re not talking about negatively but it ’ s good that it happens early .

“ It ’ s only four games but the team is gelling.

“ And when you ’ ve got a new coach , the players are always like ‘ I ’ ve have to do this, have to do that ’ .

“ They want to satisfy the coach and make him see the truth .

“ Sometimes it ’ s difficult – you have to just relax and enjoy your football . Whoever is good is good in the eyes of the coach . ”

And the Gunners faithful were full of love for their former player .

“ Stamford Bridge still has nightmares about this legend , ” one supporter wrote .

Another commented , “ What a legend you are mate . ”

While a third simply said , “ Kanu is such an under – appreciated legend . ”

This comes as the Nigerian ’ s former team -mate Sol Campbell compared Emery ’ s style of play to Barcelona .
