President Muhammadu Buhari’s popularity in Nigeria has extended to the Middle-east with some business owners using his name for marketing.
To some shop owners in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it may be difficult to attract foreign customers to their shops due to language barrier.

But some of the shops owners make their business establishments to stand out from the rest, because they can speak languages like Hausa and English to attract Nigerians and other customers from English speaking countries.

In addition, however, these businessmen observe what the foreigners especially Nigerians love and respect back home to get patronage.

This came to notice when owners of a Jallabiya shop (Long Arabian gown) in Madina sighted the Nigerian pilgrims as they shouted “Sai Buhari” to attract them.

Unarguably, “Sai Buhari” is a common phrase in Northern Nigeria right from the time General Muhammadu Buhari was prodded into politics in 2002.

At the moment, “Sai Buhari” is arguably becoming popular even in the southern part of the country.
