Nigerians have been warned out the uncertainties of illegal migration to Europ through land boarders as it has been perilous for people.
A young man simply identified as Abraham has narrated his horrific experience after recently returning from Libya.
The man left Nigeria for Libya walking on his 2 legs. Now he can only walk with the help of crutches. He was assisted to return home last Thursday via an International Organization for Migration IOM organised charter flight from Libya.
He narrated how a car smashed his leg in the North African country before speeding away. He was rushed to the hospital where he was treated. He now walks with the aid crutches.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, the UN Migration agency assisted another 154 Nigerians to return from Libya via chartered flight.
The returning migrants were provided with onward transportation, medical assistance, psycho-social counselling and support by IOM in conjunction with government partners.
