War Against Indiscipline: Young Men Publicly Shaved By Adamawa Authorities For Wearing Grown Hair (Photos)
Some young men who reportedly refused to adhere to the warning of not carrying overly full hair, have seen their long hair shaved in public by authorities in Adamawa.
According to multiple online reports, it seems that the Adamawa State Emirate Council had earlier warned young men against wearing overly full/long hair.
New photos and videos which emerged on social media show young men in Yola, the Adamawa state capital, getting their hair shaved publicly by the state instituted authorities.
It was gathered that after a while the warning announcement was made, the youths refused to shave their grown hairs, and the authorities took matters into their hands by shaving the hair of those who disobyed.
A Yola-based Facebook user, Ismaila Gambo Arabo, who posted the photos and videos wrote:
“War against in disciplines in Yola. May Allah bless Adamawa Emirate council.”
