Nigerians Revolt After Being Asked To Pay N1k Bribe To Collect Their PVC In Lekki, Lagos (Photo+Video)

A video which emerged online and is making the rounds on social media have shown just how some angry residents of Lagos revolted at a PVC centre against some bribe-seeking officials.
A Twitter user identified as Nkemjika Okorafor (@NO2JAL), has taken to the social networking platform to share a video showing how Nigerians were revolting after they were asked to pay a bribe of N1,000 to get their PVCs very quickly in the Lekki area of Lagos.

According to the eyewitness, she arrived at the PVC registration/collection center, which is at Lagos model school in Marwa, as early as 7:00am and put down her name. But they were asked to pay N1,000 before they can go into the school to register and collect their PVCs.

She shared the video and wrote: “Only in Nigeria will you still bribe someone to get your PVC on time. Been here since 7am, put my name on the list and now if you have 1k you will enter before everyone. Lagos model school Marwa. @inecnigeria.”
