While insisting that President Buhari was still the best candidate for the 2019 presidential election , Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Solomon Dalung , revealed what they would do if President Muhammad Buhari loses the 2019 presidential election.
According to Solomon Dalung, they will kindly tell President Buhari to accept his fate and exit peacefully if he loses the 2019 election, as he stated that those opposing Buhari are doing so because he has refused to yield to their selfish demands.

The Minister, who spoke with BBC Hausa, said, “We will tell him this is the time God has decreed that his tenure will be elapsed. We will tell him he has played his part and posterity will judge him.

Asked whether Buhari would win second term, he said, “I not God. Only God can decide that.”

“They are after sharing the national cake and because he refused, he (Baba) has failed.”

The Minister said those saying the President was shielding in government are wailers who cannot provide proofs on alleged offences. The Sports Minister said that within the time frame, the President has tackled the security challenges bedevilling the country.

“As all over the world people are being killed, Nigeria is not an exception. Every country has its own peculiar challenges,” he declared.

President Buhari stated this when he held a bilateral meeting with the British Prime Minister, at 10, Downing Street, London. Buhari told the British Prime Minister that his administration from the onset was focused on three cardinal areas which were security, economy and fight against corruption, adding that as his opponents were interested in the forthcoming elections, his interest was to deliver on his election promises.
