Man secretly buries mistress after she died during sex romp

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested 36-year-old Musiliu Owolabi, who secretly buried his mistress in an uncompleted building at Osara village, off Abeokuta-Ibadan Expressway.
The suspect was arrested following a report to the Police by Hammed Idowu, the younger brother of the deceased identified as Fausat Idowu, who reported that his sister who went for a naming ceremony at Bode Olude area of Abeokuta, was nowhere to be found.

After the deceased’s telephone call log was profiled, the suspect who took Fausat, a mother of five, to a hotel for pleasure where she suddenly fell ill and eventually died, was identified as the last person who spoke with her.

The State Police Commissioner, CP Ahmed Iliyasu, said;

“On interrogation, the suspect admitted taking the deceased to Rocky Gold Hotel at Iyana-Apakila, Abeokuta, for pleasure, where he claimed she fell ill and later took her in his vehicle, but died under a mysterious circumstance in the car. .

He further confessed that he took the corpse to a nearby bush, dug a shallow grave and buried it without disclosing same to anybody.”

The suspect who confessed to secretly burying his mistress, said the deceased had been his lover for six months, adding that it was the first time both of them would make move to have sex together.

“She called me on 1 February to know my whereabouts and I told her to meet me at a camp near my house. After 30 minutes, she arrived and we went to a hotel to relax.”

“At the hotel, we were just removing our clothes when she suddenly developed a severe temperature. After she complained of feeling dizzy, I told her to go outside but she made the same complaint outside and someone advised that I take her to the hospital.

“On the way to the hospital, she died. I was afraid and didn’t know what to do so I buried her in a new plot of land that has not been leveled behind my house in Gbagba area, Abeokuta.

“I did not inform the Police or anyone about the incident. I became apprehensive and decided to hide the corpse and later buried her in the midnight” he said.
