Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly pays for ‘medical treatment of the 370 people injured in Portuguese wildfires’
Cristiano Ronaldo has once again stretched out his generous heart by reportedly paying the medical bills of 370 victims injured in the devastating Portuguese wildfires.
His pop star sister, Katia Aveiro posted a link to a report about the Real Madrid’s forward’s generosity on her Facebook page.
It says: “Cristiano Ronaldo paid for the medical treatment of the 370 people injured in the Portuguese wildfires.”
Applauding the move, she adds to the post: ‘And that is It. Good night.’
The devastating wildfires which struck on Sunday near Tabua, 120 miles (200km) north of Lisbon, claimed the lives of 42 people including a one-month-old baby and injured many.
Following the news of the wildfires, the football star from Madeira in Portugal, who’s the Richest sportsman in the World, took to his Facebook to show solidarity to the family of the victims.
“It’s impossible to remain indifferent to this tragedy. Solidarity with the relatives and friends of the victims.
“Full support for firefighters who risk their live to help in the best way possible.”
