Police Arrest, Student Over Attempt To Use His Father, 2 Siblings, 5 Facebook Friends For Ritual
The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a student identified as Chukwuemeka Okafor, over an alleged attempt to use his father, two siblings and 5 Facebook friends for rituals in Ifite -Awka, Anambra state.
The 26-year-old suspect who has already confessed to the crime, said he decided to commit the act after he was defrauded of N400,000 by one of his friends who had promised to take him to Dubai, he then obtained the sum of N100,000 from the father under the pretense of using it to set up a business. Unknown to the father that the money will be used to settle the “native doctor” for alleged money ritua,l of which the father himself is a victim.,
