‘I Never Said I Wanted To Be The Next Fashion Icon’- Beverly Naya Drags Top Stylist

Tinsel star, Beverly Naya, has insisted that she wears what she loves, does what she loves, and will never allow anyone dictate how she lives her life.

This is coming after a mean review of her fashion style on fashion panel on Spice TV’s Style 101 show, featuring Yummie Ogbebor, Mai Atafo, Adeolu Adefarasin and Idia Aisien.

Yummie Ogbebor who was asked to comment on Beverly Naya’s red carpet signature looks, said the Nollywood actress shies away from taking fashion risks and also has overdone signature silhouette look.

Yummie Ogbebor’s comment, which didn’t go down well with Naya, made her storm the stylist’s page with this;

“When push comes to shove, I have no issues with being me and wearing what makes me happy. I don’t exist to please ‘stylists’ lol. Never suggested that I wanted to be the next fashion icon either…so I’ll leave the unnecessary amount of risk taking to them and the stylists who choose to overdo the way their clients look all in the name of fashion. Moral of the story- Be true to who you are and make no apologies to those who you might offend in the process
