Donald Trump Bans Transgenders From Serving In the US Army After Consultation With Professionals

US president Donald Trump has said that transgender persons will not be allowed to serve in the US military.

Trump made the statement on Twitter, adding that the decision was made after consulting with generals and military experts.

The last administration of the former president, Barack Obama, lifted a ban on transgender military service. Some service men are reported to have come out from the closet as a result.
