Brazil Declare 3 Days Morning Holiday To Commemorate The Chapecoense Plane Crash Victims
Thousands of Chapecoense supporters came together to mourn the deaths of their football heroes. Their team, including players, managers and officials, were all but wiped out after their plane crashed in a Colombian jungle while on their to a cup final.
Many supporters back home in Brazil filled the streets of Chapeco, cathedrals and the club’s home stadium, Arena Conda, to grieve. The fans held hands, sang, chanted and cried after the tragedy occurred, late on Monday night.
