In the shocking clip, the little girl is seen walking with her mother while a driver unlocks and gets into his car.

The little girl wanders away from her mum – who is distracted by her phone – and runs directly into the path of the car.

The driver – unaware of the young girl’s presence – starts to drive off in the underground car park.

But as the car moves forward, it clips the girl and knocks her off her feet.

The young girl disappears from view as the car rolls forward.

Her mother begins to scream in distress as the driver stops his car and runs around it to assess what has happend.

Other witnesses gather around the car in a panicked frenzy before the CCTV clip cuts out.

It is believed the tragic incident happened at an underground car park in China.

A date on the CCTV image suggests it occurred on October 6.

It is not known whether the girl survived the horrific collision.
