Pastor Rapes 23-year-old Girl In Ebonyi

A 29-year-old Pastor, David Ibe, of Christ Command Mission, Onicha Igboeze in Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State was, weekend, alleged to have raped one Nnennaya Okute, 23, in an uncompleted building in the area.

The victim hails from Amaokwe community, the same local government with the suspect, who is currently at the headquarters of the state Police Command in Abakaliki.

Confirming the incident, the state Police Public Relations Officer, ASP George Okafor, stated that the suspect lured his victim into an uncompleted building at Oruagha Umuobunna Uburu, where he raped her at about 9:30p.m.

According to the PPRO, “he is an impostor. He is among those who claim to be pastors, but dent the image of God.

“They are the horrible type that pretends to be human beings and you will never know that you are actually dinning with the devil.”

Okafor said during interrogation the suspect confessed to the crime, claiming that the girl refused to marry him after he had invested so much money on her.

He said: “It is a terrible situation and this is type we want to get at so others like him will learn. Imagine what the flock under him will do if someone who said that he is a man of God can go this way?
