Chelsea’s Zouma Out For Six Months With Damaged Knee Ligaments
The Chelsea and France defender will miss the rest of the season and Euro 2016 after damaging knee ligaments in the 1-1 draw with Manchester United
Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma will miss the rest of the Premire League season and Euro 2016 after injuring his right anterior cruciate knee ligament during Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Manchester United.
The 21-year-old, who has ousted Gary Cahill in the champions’ starting line-up in recent weeks, landed awkwardly during the game at Stamford Bridge and was quickly stretchered from the field.
Zouma was seen on crutches after the game and the club have now confirmed the France international will undergo surgery which is sideline him for the remainder of the season and Euro 2016.
