Nigerian Female Striker, Asisat Oshoala Set To Leave Liverpool Ladies FC To Join Arsenal Ladies FC
Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala is on the verge of completing a transfer to Arsenal Ladies in the English top tier as her present club, Liverpool Ladies confirmed they’ve accepted an offer from the London-based outfit.
The former Rivers Angels striker joined the Reds in January 2015 and became an instant hit at Merseyside. She is now expected to discuss personal terms with the two-time FA Women’s Super League champions.
Oshoala, 21, won the 2014 Caf female footballer of the year after her stellar performances at the U21 World Cup and the African Women Championship in 2014.
The lanky Lagos-born attacker later made history in 2015 when she won the inaugural BBC Women Footballer of the year award, beating the likes of Spain’s Veronica Boquete, German Nadine Kessler, Scot Kim Little and Brazilian legend Marta to the honour.
