Manchester United forward Anthony Martial was forced off with an ankle injury during France’s defeat to England on Tuesday evening.
He was replaced by Antoine Griezmann in the 67th minute as goals from Dele Alli and Wayne Rooney sealed a 2-0 win at Wembley.
Martial was seen leaving Wembley on crutches after the match, although France boss Didier Deschamps has played down the severity of the injury.
“He was in quite a bit of pain after the match,” said Deschamps.
“He got a kick in the penalty area. I think it’s just a knock rather than anything else to the top of his foot.”
Martial, who made his senior debut for France in September, has scored five goals in 14 appearances for United this season.
