ASUU, ESUT Chapter To Embark On Indefinite Strike
The Academic Staff University Union members of the Enugu State University of Science and technology (ESUT) might go on an indefinite strike which is scheduled on the 5th of May,this according to the ASUU president in the university Dr.Chris Nnadi the strike by the union is as a result of the University management refusal to meet to there demands,such demand include Promotion of lecturers,decision of the management to give out cars as parting gifts to outgoing members of the management,immediate change of the current bursar and registra of the institution, he claims that the lecturers of the union have suffered from economic and social challenges as a result of the management not meeting to there demand.The two weeks ultimatum given to the university to meet their demand ends on the 5th of May
