Obasanjo Denies Endorsing Buhari, Gives Clue on Who He Supports
Former President Of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has finally cleared the air on the endorsement of The All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant, General Muhammadu Buhari in the upcoming 2015 general election.
Speaking in an interview with ChannelsTv, the former president revealed his stand concerning the elections, as well as the candidate he will support in the upcoming elections.
While responding to questions on reports that he had endorsed APC presidential candidate, Gen. Buhari, he disclosed that his wish is to see Nigeria headed by a strong president.
In his words; “Well, I wouldn’t go into details about that. I didn’t endorse him or endorsed him as such. What I said when a question was asked was that, I will determine based on the track record of those candidates who are contesting and who ask me for support. So when I do that, I will support the candidate I believe has the best track record”
