Boko Haram Now Implementing Sharia Law In Mubi, Amputating And Stoning Victims To Death- Escapee
According to SAHARA REPORTERS, Boko Haram has commenced the implementation of Sharia law in Mubi, the Adamawa State town it captured last week, a source from the area said.
The source, one of those who escaped from the town, revealed that the sect have stoned to death some persons whom they claimed had committed ‘capital’ offences.
Others allegedly found stealing had their hands amputated, he added.
Another source disclosed that the militants have forced trapped inhabitants of the town to open their business premises.
According to him, Boko Haram operatives have also been going around the town burning churches and killing locals who resisted conversion, which they consider to be a grave offence.
