Spain out of World Cup, as Netherland Qualifies
Defending champions Spain have been knocked out of the World Cup in Brazil after losing 2-0 to Chile in their second match.
Chile’s victory — through goals from Eduardo Vargas and Charles Arranguiz — took them and the Netherlands through to the last 16 from Group B.
Mean while Netherland who had in there first game thrashed Spain 5-1, became the first to advance to the next stage of the tournament after their 3-2 victory over Australia.
