There Is No Way We Will Field A Muslim-Muslim Ticket – APC's Onyeagucha

A former House of Reps Member and All Progressives Congress state chairman Uche Onyeagucha has revealed that his party would not field Muslim-Muslim candidates for 2015 presidential
election.
The Enugu APC Chapter Chairman said the rumoured reports are false and those bearing such stories are just speculating.
He was speaking to Punch reporters and he revealed that his party would make sure all interests were accommodated when choosing its presidential and vice presidential candidates for the 2015 elections.
He said: “If we must carry our members along, there is just no way we would field a Muslim-Muslim or Christian-Christian ticket. It won’t happen because the party’s leaders are aware of the implications,”
“We won’t even field a Christian-Christian ticket. Every member must be involved in picking those that would fly the party’s flag at the election and ensure we come out victorious.”
Onyeagucha urged his fellow party members not to allow these rumours get to them.
He said: What is happening is just a passing phase which we shall overcome. All members who came from the legacy parties to form the APC should realise that they must be able to accommodate members
who came from other parties.
“You must make sacrifices for other parties, no matter how small they might be before we incorporated them into the APC.”
