The nationwide cinema release of the much-awaited Half of a Yellow Sun movie has been postponed.
According to iROKOtv.com, the new target date is May 2, 2014, Friday. The Nigerian distributors of Half of a Yellow Sun, FilmOne Distribution, and the Nigeria producers, Shareman Media, have released the joint statement in this regard, explaining the
reason of the delay.
“The highly anticipated release of Half of a Yellow Sun in Nigeria has been postponed due to delays in obtaining certification from the Nigerian Film and Video Censors Board for the public release of the film.
