"Abuja bombing, a crime against humanity " – First Lady, Patience Jonathan

The first lady of the federal republic of Nigeria have condemned the recent bombing in Abuja, saying it’s a crime against humanity .
A statement signed by Ayo Adewuyi quoted the first lady as describing the killing of the innocent souls as a crime against humanity, which must be condemned by all Nigerians.
While commiserating with the families of those who lost their loved ones in the heinous act, she prayed that God Almighty will continue to console them and grant them enduring fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
“Dame Patience Jonathan shares the pains of the families of the victims, while also praying that God assuage the pains of the.survivors and grant them quick recovery.
“The First Lady further prays for the continued repose of the souls of victims of the bomb blast, beseeching the Lord to grant them eternal rest
in His perfect peace. She urged Nigerians to use this period to pray God to enable the nation overcome acts of terrorism perpetrated by enemies and grant our leaders the wisdom to check these acts” the statement concluded.
