Angry Mob Descend On Policeman, Beat And Tie Him Up [Photos]

A policeman landed in trouble as an angry mob descended on him, beat him thoroughly and tied him up this afternoon along Patigi Road in Kwara State.
According to eyewitnesses, a driver delivering telecoms equipment to a site at Patigi was stopped by some policemen who allegedly asked for money from him.
The driver was said to have refused parting with any money which resulted in a fierce argument.
Angered by the man’s defiance, one of the policemen shot him in the arm.
Unfortunately for the police officers, a mob attacked them after the shooting but they escaped leaving one behind at the mercy of the angry mob.
The one who was caught was beaten mercilessly and later tied up.
