Famous American rapper, Jeffrey Williams widely known as Young Thug, has been released from prison after accepting a plea deal in his racketeering trial.

Edujandon.com recalls that Young Thug was arrested and imprisoned in May 2022 on racketeering and gang-related charges, alongside several affiliates of his record label, YSL Records.

According to The New York Times, Young Thug was released on Thursday, after accepting a plea agreement in his racketeering case, resulting in a 15-year probation sentence.

As part of his 15-year probation sentence, Young Thug must serve 100 hours of community service and deliver four annual anti-gang presentations to children.

It’s worth noting that the Grammy-winning rapper’s trial has been one of the longest in Georgia’s history.
