Woman accused of dark powers after 13 of her 14 children pass away, last child allegedly suffers stroke
A Nigerian woman stuns the internet after being labeled a “witch” following the tragic loss of 13 out of her 14 children, with the last child reportedly suffering from a stroke.
This was disclosed in a post circulating widely on the popular social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
According to the post, the woman, residing in the Alausa area of Lagos State, has been abandoned and is living in a tent, having lost contact with her surviving child, who is allegedly down with a stroke.
It was revealed that she gave birth to 14 children, but 13 have passed away, leading many in her community to believe she is a “witch.”
However, one community resident, who reached out to someone willing to help, described the woman as cheerful and expressed disbelief in the accusations against her, stating she does not believe the woman is responsible for the deaths of her children.
As the video circulated online, concerned individuals flooded the post’s comment section to share their thoughts.
See some reactions below:
@ZarkyPage: “My grandmother still alive gave birth to 13 children..guess what. They all died before the age of 1-3yrs, my father and her sister who were 14 and 15 were the ones that survived. During that time, sickness like Croup, Diarrhea, RSV, Tonic seizures were seen as an attack.”
@NonniSt: “All this are the dutipf the government to create shatter for those who are homeless but in Nigeria 🇳🇬 the situation is different.”
@Trends4Naija: “Ignorance is why people call such people w!tches. Rhesus factor mismatch can cause child mortality of this order.”
