Basketmouth Reveals How Colleagues Who Beg on Stage Influenced Him, Cautions Them
Comedian and actor Bright Okpocha, known as Basketmouth, talked about how the begging behavior of some of his peers affects him.
He questioned if they were crazy for doing it and urged them to stop, saying it diminishes their talent.
He also remembered a time when he was on stage, and a man threw money at him, which made him feel embarrassed.
In a discussion on the CreativiTea Live with Linda podcast, Basketmouth talked about his new movie, A Ghetto Love Story.
He encouraged his peers to collaborate with younger talents. At 46, he believes he has valuable experience but is open to sharing his platform and learning from the younger generation.
He also shared that two sponsors for his movie backed out, which was a tough blow for him. Despite this, he managed to raise N300 million in just 12 hours.
