Reactions as pastor sends groom out of church on wedding day because of his fully-grown beards (Video)

A video making the round online has captured moment a Nigerian groom was chased out during his wedding ceremony and by extension, generated massive reactions on social media.

It appeared that the officiating pastor expressed dissatisfaction, claiming that the groom’s beard was too much and inappropriate for the sacred ceremony. He however insisted that the groom leave the church and cut off his beard before returning for the ceremony to continue.

He captioned the clip, “I was sent out of church because of my beard on my wedding day. The moment i was sent out church because of my beards. The pastor said he won’t wed us if i don’t shave my beards”.

In the video, he was seen sitting inside a car with another man, presumed to be his best man as they rocked the same matching outfits.

Although the location of the church wasn’t disclosed, the man is seen by the roadside, having a barber trim his beard so he could return to his wedding and wed his beloved wife.
