“How I became a successful person” – Billionaire Tony Elemelu shares shocking revelation to youths in new post
Famous Nigerian billionaire and philanthropist Tony Elumelu has taken to social media to share a shocking revelation to youth disclosing how he becomes a successful person in life today.
In a post shared via his verified page on the popular microblogging platform X formerly called Twitter, today, July 8th 2024, Tony Elumelu shares a deep secret behind his success.
Note that Tony Elumelu who is 61-year-old as of the moment of filling this content graduated from Bendel State University now Ambrose Alli University with a second-class lower degree.
However, Tony Elumelu refused to be drawn back by the discrimination behind graduating with a second lower degree and by extension moved forward by obtaining a Master of Science degree in Economics from the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
As of the time of filling this content, Tony Elumelu is the Chairman of United Bank for Africa (UBA), Chairman/majority shareholder of Transcorp Group, he chairs Heirs Holdings and also founder of the Tony Elumelu Foundation.
Tony Elumelu is one of the richest Nigerians and he is worth about $700million which is approximately over N1trillion (1,085,504,000,00). He is more than a billionaire in naira.
In the tweet, Tony Elumelu uttered that he has not talent embedded in him as a person yet he is a successful billionaire then he went how to disclose how he made it.
Tony Elumelu said that despite not having talent, he makes sure he surrounds himself with people who have talent. He stressed that he was able to surround himself with people who were more intelligent than him in a particular area.
Toney Elumelu wrote;
“Talent I don’t have, I surround myself with people who have it. You must recognise your limitations but make sure you are intelligent enough to support yourself with those who are better, those who are more intelligent in that area than yourself. #TOEWay.”

temiowokole: Mr Tony didn’t say he doesn’t have talent. Rather, he said the talent that he doesn’t have, he makes sure he surrounds himself with those who have it… In other words, he is good at leveraging the strengths of various individuals to create a more well-rounded and effective team. That alone is a talent or skill that he has and not many people can do that. So, my point is, his post didn’t say he doesn’t have talent.
