BBNaija Season 6 winner, Whitemoney shares one of his biggest career struggles while emphasizing how Nigerians do not value his style of music.

The reality star-turned-musician expressed his concerns on a podcast show, The Echoo Room where he talked about his music genre, Kumkum.

According to Whitemoney, Nigerians don’t see him as a musician and don’t value his style just as they did with Davido and Burna Boy before fame.

He emphasized that his countrymen have a mentality of looking down on talent but are the first to claim glory when the star is recognized internationally.

Whitemoney, whose thirst for music success seems unquenchable swore to trample on those who looked down on him when he hit the limelight.

“That’s what they did to Burna, David; they don’t believe in their star but when outsiders appreciate you, they will pay times two.

“Just they pray make I no blow because if I blow; I’m a star in my lane. Nobody rivals my talent; you’re good in your way, I am the king; that’s why I have my own genre,” he stated.
