“I’m so sorry” – Diddy tenders public apology after video of him assaulting his ex Cassie surfaces online (Video)

Famous American rapper and music mogul Diddy in a new video making the rounds online has tendered public apology after video of him assaulting his ex Cassie in a hotel surfaces online.

In the video shared via his verified Instagram page today, May 19th 2024, Diddy said that he is so sorry and by extension stated that his behavior in the video footage is inexcusable.

The video, initially acquired by CNN and released on Friday, shows Diddy running out of a hotel room in a towel and chasing his ex, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, toward the elevator.

He grabs her by the back of the neck, throws her to the floor, kicks her, shoves her, and drags her by her sweatshirt. Later in the footage, he returns to kick her again and then throws an object from a nearby table at her.

In the apology post, Diddy said his behavior is disgusting and he has gone for therapy at Rehab and has sought God Mercy and grace in his life adding that he is truly sorry.

“It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that,” Diddy said on Instagram.

“I was fucked up — I hit rock bottom — but I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable.”

“I take full responsibility for my actions in that video,” Combs said Sunday. “I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help. I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to be a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry.”
