“My Wife Caused My Suffering And…” – Man’s Suicide Note Before Setting Self Ablaze In Car After Wife Left

The rate of suicides has been on the rise for the past few months in Nigeria.

Unfortunately, Nigerian have been left in shock after a middle-aged man, Venus Amimo, set himself ablaze in a vehicle.

According to a K24 news report on their Facebook account, Venus, who worked as a civil contractor, was said to have been having issues with his marriage. When his wife had not returned by 2:00 AM, Amimo set himself ablaze.

A close friend said Amimo sent a suicide text message saying,

“My wife caused my suffering, and I am going to leave her and the children.”
