Popular Nigerian nightlife king ascal Okechukwu also known as Cubana Chief Priest has finally arrived court for arraignment today, April 17th 2024 after being accused of naira abuse by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Yesterday April 16th 2024, Intel Region reported that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) filed a three-count charge against popular Instagram celebrity, Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chiefpriest, for allegedly spraying and tampering with the naira at a social event contrary to the provisions of the Central Bank Act of 2007.

EFCC is prosecuting him for alleged spraying and tampering of the Naira at an event at Eko Hotel on February 13th 2024, an event in Lagos in January 2024 and another event in 2020.

As of the moment of filling this content, Cubana Chief Priest has been arraigned before Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court, Lagos.

However, latest development confirmed that Cubana Chiefpriest pleads not guilty to the abuse of naira levelled against him by the EFCC.

While being arraigned in court this morning, Cubana’s counsel, Chukosolo Ojukwu, opposed the charges filed against him by the EFCC. He has also filed an application for bail.

Bobrisky was advised by his lawyer to plead guilty thinking he will get a fine… that happened to be a mistake Next they will try to find him guilty with evidence.. thats where his money and connection comes in.. He will get the best lawyers to drag efcc for years.. ofcourse he will be on bail while all these are happening. They will have to prove that what he was spraying in the videos were real money, also that part of the events were real not a skit or movie scene. To do all these.. they will have to get the hosts of the event to testify against CP.. which they will never do.. The hosts have to agree it was real money too and not money for props…VP Shettima, Sanwolu, hope uzodinma are his allies.. they will come in to dilute the case.. After a year plus.. Efcc go just tire Yes…My mum is a Judge. These popular arrests may just be to instill fear on everyone else and stop the mutilations… Not necessarily to send the celebrities to jail So if you are thinking that you will see CP in jail… SORRY..
