American media personality Kim Kardashian has opened up on the true reason behind her decision to file for divorce from Hip Hop icon Kanye West.

The couple, who tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in 2014, were together for eight years before announcing their separation in 2022.

Speaking during a guest appearance on the popular TV show, Big Boss, Kardashian shed light on the challenges she faced in her marriage to Kanye West.

While acknowledging his status as “the best rapper of all time” and “the richest black man in America,” she emphasized that her primary issue with Kanye West was his character.

“I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that, he is the richest black man in America, a talented legit genius who gave me four incredible kids. So when I divorced him you have to know it came down to just one thing, his personality,” Kardashian said.

The former power couple shares four children together: North, 10, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm West, who is 4 years old.
