“Our husbands refused to touch us because of heat” — Rivers state women take protest to PHCN office

Some women in Rivers state have taken to the PHCN office to share their frustration with the electricity company over the constant heat.

In a display of solidarity, some women took up placards to protest for a change in the electricity situation.

According to them, they were not getting light and this caused a lack of intimacy with their partners because of the blistering heat.

They further pointed out how despite the lack of light, they were still made to pay outrageous bills to PHCN.

This protest has gathered a flurry of funny reactions.
