Erling Haaland delivers FIVE-STAR show as Pep Guardiola’s side sweep the Hatters aside to book their place in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

Erling Haaland produced a five-star showing on Tuesday night as the Norwegian striker scored five times to help Manchester City defeat Luton 6-2 at Kenilworth Road.

The result means that Pep Guardiola’s side have now booked their place in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup for the sixth time in successive seasons, with Kevin De Bruyne dazzling to assist Haaland for each of his opening four goals.

Jordan Clark would get two goals back for Luton, with the midfielder slotting a stunning effort into the top-right corner of the goal for his first.

Haaland got the first in the opening three minutes of the match, with his Belgian team-mate cutting back from the byline, with Haaland hammering in the opener.

He would go on to score another two before half time before adding a brace of goals after the break to score his 27th goal of the season.

It wasn’t all joy for City though, with Jack Grealish cutting a distraught figure after being substituted with what appeared to be a groin injury during the match.
