“Fellow Nigerians, I no go let you down” – Super eagle players sing joyfully following their match with Equatorial Guinea (Video)
Nigerian football national team, Super Eagle players has assured Nigerians following their match with Equatorial Guinea.
The ongoing 34th edition of African football tournament, African cup of Nation 2023 (AFCON) kickstarted on Saturday, January 13 and was hosted by Ivory Coast.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria were held to a 1-1 draw against Equatorial Guinea in their first game of AFCON on Sunday.
Following their draw, Super eagles players were seen singing and dancing joyfully to an indigenous song.
The video captured Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze among other players vibing hard to the beat played in the background.
The song with lyrics, “Why are you so so worried? Fellow Nigerians, we won’t let you down…”, implying that they will strive hard to make Nigerians proud.
