A Nigerian man, named Onoh Chukwuma Richard, has taken his own life after reportedly losing N2.5m to betting.

Onoh Chukwuma Richard, who is the CEO of Faso Energy Limited, committed suicide by consuming sniper.

He reportedly borrowed a substantial amount of money but lost it in a bet.

On Tuesday, December 12, he revealed his plans to leave the world live on Facebook.

Onoh recorded an inaudible final video while sporting a lemon-colored t-shirt.

Also, in a final post he made, he declared that he was going to meet his Maker as it was his final day on earth.

He wrote: “Today is my last day on earth! I going to meet my maker.”

Friends reached out to him right away, but they discovered him writhing in agony. They took him right away to Umuahia’s Madonna Hospital.

Sadly, the businessman from Abia State passed away.

The same outfits he wore on his live video are visible in a video of him in the hospital. According to some friends, he consumed the sniper prior to going live.

He is survived by his elderly mother, about whom he writes frequently on Facebook.

He mentioned his mother pushing him to find a wife and get married just a few weeks ago.
