“Signs of the end time” – Reactions as Nigerian gay rights activist Micheal Ighodaro weds his American politician partner (Photos/video)

Gay wedding is on the rise all over the world and the rate at which Nigerians are joining the league of this wedding can’t be left without talking about.


While many sees the gay wedding as taboo in a black nation such as Nigeria, gay weddings are highly legalized and celebrated in foreign countries like the United States of America.

However, in trending photos and videos making the waves online, Nigerian gayrights activist Micheal Ighodaro weds his American politician partner.

Micheal Ighodaro, on Monday night October 9 in New York city tied the knot with his Armenian-American partner, Jirair Ratevosian.

Guests at their wedding included Nigerian gay rights activists, Edafe Okporo, Jide Macaulay amongst others.

Jirair is a Democratic candidate in the 2024 California’s 30th congressional district election.

The couple got engaged last year.

The video did not sit well with many Nigeria as they describe the ongoing hike in gay weddings as “End Time”. See reactions below;
